The Model RXT automatic transfer switch is designed for use only with Kohler generator sets equipped with RDC2 or DC2 generator set/transfer switch controls. The transfer switch operation is controlled by the RDC2/DC2 integrated generator set/transfer switch controller, which is mounted on the following Kohler generator set models: 14RESA/RESAL, 20RESA/RESAL, 48RCL. Features: •     Part of the new line of KOHLER transfer switches, the RXT Line enclosures are all aluminum and rated for indoor/outdoor use. Approved for indoor or outdoor installation with NEMA Type 3R corrosion-resistant aluminum enclosure. •     The brain of your KOHLER backup power system, the transfer switch continuously monitors the utility power for an interruption. If utility power fails, the transfer switch automatically starts the power system, transfers the electrical loads and restores power to your home. •     Compatible only with the 14RESA(L), 20RESA(L) and 48RCL generators. •     Models with load centers are UL 67 listed, file #E251086. Models without load centers are UL 1008 listed, file #E58962. •     Two-pole, single-phase open-transition transfer switch shown. •     Allows variable speed weekly exercise cycle and self-diagnostic test on the 14RESA(L) and 20RESA(L) generators. •     Contactor is manually operable for maintenance purposes. •     Works with the 14RESA(L), 20RESA(L) and 48RCL generators for utility voltage sensing and smart engine cool down. •     Includes 5-year limited warranty.
