Open-frame (unhoused) C-Series diesel sets are fully integrated power generation systems for stationary standby duty in agricultural and light commercial applications — irrigation, dairy and livestock operations, shops and equipment buildings — where the set goes inside a building or under existing cover, or the customer supplies their own housing. Dropping the enclosure keeps cost down and leaves the whole set open for service.
