INSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE

Full-time

Support activities centered around outside sales support, inside sales and lead generation, prospect identification and communication, and help facilitate sales and customer service communications. 

Essential Functions

  • Follow up on outside sales leads generated by the outside sales team
  • Take incoming sales calls and help capture upfront customer onboarding data and requirements
  • Follow up on outstanding quotes and leads identified to be of high importance
  • Create and enter Quotes and other CRM related items
  • Identify new sales opportunities through lead follow-up/outbound cold calls/emails
  • Maintain and Expand Database of Prospects
  • Monitor Government Bid sites and coordinate the bid process with sales management
  • Attend local tradeshows and represent the company and its products
  • Maintain current customer relationships and requests


Qualifications


Experience/Training/Education:

  • 2-year technical degree preferred or 2 - 4 years of equivalent experience
  • Must have experience dealing with customers on a regular basis and putting their needs first
  • Inside Sales and CRM experience is preferred


Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Basic Knowledge of, and experience with industrial engines and power equipment
  • Knowledge in QuickBooks or another accounting/ERP software of the sales order process
  • Experience working with Zoho or similar CRM
  • Outgoing personality and ability to close sales inquiries by planning attractive quotations for them
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with high level of confidence
  • Creative thinker and should possess the ability to resolve critical customer problems
  • Good organizational skills, time management skills, and the ability to adapt to changing scenarios
  • Should have ability to multitask and manage conflicts in the business processes/personnel
  • Ability to analyze different markets and target potential clients or client groups
  • Actively involved in the developmental plans of the company and devoted to executing those plans
  • Target oriented and believes in teamwork driven results
  • Should possess ability to work individually in certain situations
  • Ability to adapt to changing customer requirements, and find the best solutions for both customer and CSB
  • Must be able to lead by example and take initiative
  • Computer Literate with a proficient knowledge of Email, Windows, and Microsoft Office


Physical and Environmental Elements:

  • Random exposure to typical engine manufacturing and cleaning environments.
  • Must be able to lift 40 pounds on a random basis.
  • Occasional travel required <15%

SERVICE TECHNICIAN

Full-time

The primary duties of this position are to commission/service/maintain natural gas and diesel AC power generator systems located at our customer's facilities. Other duties include service/maintenance on various industrial equipment and assisting in the custom assembly and design of customer products. We are looking for an individual who is a self-starter, motivated, and able to address customer service concerns while on-site.

Essential Functions

  • Perform Service and maintenance on customer generators and electrical equipment.
  • Troubleshoot generators and related electrical equipment for emergency on-site repair.
  • Provide service manager with requirements for customer jobs including parts needed, specialty tools required, and any site restrictions or special requirements.
  • Fill out required documentation including field service reports, field expense reports, data collection during testing, and other business-related documents as required.
  • Manage truck inventory and supply requirements.
  • Track and maintain service truck assigned and any company equipment required.


Qualifications


Experience/Training/Education:

  • 2-year diesel engine or comparable trade skill degree preferred or relevant experience
  • EGSA training and certification preferred
  • Formal equipment repair & maintenance training preferred on generators, compressors, pumps, heaters, or other industrial equipment
  • Factory training on chargers, inverters, and controllers preferred
  • Safety and continuous improvement training a plus


Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Engines, both natural gas and/or diesel
  • Transfer switches both manual and automatic
  • Solid-state, microprocessor, PLC engine and generator controllers
  • Diesel engine fire pumps and controllers
  • Load bank testing
  • Natural gas regulator and fuel system knowledge
  • Working knowledge of electrical systems and circuitry
  • Solar system configuration and off-grid applications a plus
  • Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude is a must


Physical and Environmental Elements:

  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds
  • Pass drug screenings
  • Maintain a professional work appearance
  • Field and workshop environment 95% of time with long periods of sitting or standing
  • Office environments 5% of the time (climate controlled)
  • Field environments will put technicians in the elements on customer sites as needed
  • Daily travel required (company truck provided) with long-distance travel required infrequently
