In order to provide a true estimate of your RV generator installation, we will first need to complete a visual inspection of your generator-ready vehicle. You will need to bring your RV or Commercial Mobile vehicle to our shop (located at 720 Seedling Court, Colorado Springs, CO 80915). If you are unable to do this, we will send a technician to you, but availability will be limited.

How Do I Know If My Vehicle Is Generator Ready?

An RV or Commercial Mobile vehicle that is considered "generator ready" or "generator prepped" varies per your vehicle, however, it usually means that there is a built-in compartment for your generator and some preliminary wiring has been installed to connect to items like an inverter, battery, or automatic transfer switch. Many 5th Wheels are advertised as "generator ready" and are prepped for generators while being built at the factory. There, the factory adds all the necessary wiring, control panels (most often with a push-button start), exhaust pipes, fuel lines, and hoses.
